This example showcases the Download Manager control.
The Download Manager is a part of the Toolbar. If the currently selected theme has downloadable data (such as from a WFS or WCS) the Data Download tool will appear on the Toolbar.
The Theme Switcher control updates the Toolbar, passing it the currently selected theme. The Toolbar then checks the theme for downloadable layers, and if they're present, it creates the Data Download tool.
The Download Manager will then use the Capabilities file of the download service to populate the Data Discovery Panel.
The only setting that you will have to set is the global oscar.DownloadHost property. Setting this property will filter all of the requests made through the download host, altering them so that the browser will open a "Save As" dialog for the download.
Without this, all downloaded files will open in their default applications.
